Many consumers do not know that the best resource available for information about regulatory agencies and corporate contacts is available free from the United States Federal Consumer Information Center (FCIC). You may know them as the agency who publishes information available from Pueblo, Colorado.

The FCIC publishes The Consumer Action Handbook in print and online. The information is free. Just head to their website. You can also get a copy of the book by paying $2 to cover postage. This is a departure from previous editions, which were free, but still ranks as one of the better bargains for smart consumers.
